Panther Paws - Level 3 Launch

FITS this year saw the launch of my successful Level 3 cert flight.  Sponsored by Curtis Turner at Performance Rocketry it was a 17' tall 6" transitioning down to 4" rocket.  Weighing in at 51 lbs on the pad with a CTI M1450 motor it was a very large beast.

Included below are the prep shots, loading, launch and recovery. Thanks to Jim Wilkerson for the great lift off shot and Red for the video!  The flight was nearly perfect to 11765' AGL within 18' of my simulated altitude.  Many thanks to Jim Wilkerson, TAP, Kimberly Harms, remote TAP, Kent Newman and Andy Casillas for support, loading, etc. and of course Red (Angela) and Core (Corinne) for their support all winter and at the launch!  Construction photos can be found here.
